Internships and Postdoctoral funding

Master's internships in Mathematics

During Spring/Summer 2025, I offer several Master's internships in Mathematics at the the Institut de Mathématiques de Toulouse (France).

  • Master 2 level: Iterated convolutions and the local limit theorem (Research project in french)
  • Master 2 level: Super-linear spreading for Fisher-KPP equations set on antitrees (Research project)

  • For more information, please contact me via email at gregory.faye[at]math.univ-toulouse[dot]fr.

    Postdoctoral funding in Mathematics

Within the ANR project Hyperbolic Equations, Approximations & Dynamics HEAD (2024-2029), we are offering two 2-years post-doc positions in France, one in Rennes, one in Toulouse. The project is focused on the analysis of the long-time dynamics of hyperbolic systems of partial differential equations and their approximations by numerical schemes, vanishing viscosity or in the dispersionless limit. We welcome applications with background on the nonlinear analysis of partial differential equations, the study of infinite dimensional dynamical systems and their coherent structures, the mathematical analysis of numerical schemes for partial differential equations. For more information on the application process, please check the official announcement: PDE file.

The selection process will start on December 16th, 2024.
