Xi Chen will be a guest researcher at the Toulouse Mathematics Institute for 3 months, from April 1st to June 30th 2023, in the framework of a CNRS poste rouge. He is an Associate Professor at Alberta University in Edmonton, Canada and defended his PhD in 1997 at
Harvard University under the direction of Joe Harris.
His research field is complex algebraic geometry. His research record include studies on singular curve families (Severi varieties) and rational endomorphisms of K3 surfaces.
