The Lagrange Prize in continuous optimization awarded to two researchers associated to IMT
Jérôme Bolte and Edouard Pauwels, from Toulouse School of Economics, and associated researchers to the Toulouse Mathematics Institute have recieved from SIAM the Lagrange Prize in continuous optimizationawarded every 3 years, for their paper Conservative set valued fields, automatic differentiation, stochastic gradient methods and deep learning published in Mathematical Programming in 2020.
