The International Congress of Basic Science (ICBS) in Beijing opens with Frontiers of Science awards for outstanding articles.

One of the awarded articles in 2024 isQuotients of higher-dimensional Cremona groups, published in Acta Mathematica in 2021 and co-authored by Jérémy Blanc from Basel University, Stéphane Lamy from the Toulouse Mathematics Institute (IMT) and Susanna Zimmermann from Angers University and who had been a post-doctoral fellow in IMT.
